                   INVESTMENT IN FINTECH 

 

FinTech is one of the most dynamic and perspective fields for investment through venture investment, merger and acquisitions (M&A) or private equities  

 

In accordance with the data of KPMG [1], the biggest deals (TOP-10) of investment in different segments of FinTech in H1 of 2020 were:

1.Gojek – $3 bln, Jakarta, Indonesia – Payment/transactions - Venture capital (VC), seria F;

2. Open Lending – $1,3 bln, Austin, USA, - Lending –  M&A;

3. Grab – $886 mln, Singapore - Payment/transactions – late stage VC;

4. Stripe – $850 mln, San Francisco, California, USA - Institutional/B2B – late stage VC;

5. RDG – $700 mln, King of Prussia, USA - RegTech – M&A

6.  Chime (Financial Software) – $700 mln, San Francisco, California, USA - Banking - VC, seria E

7.   N26 – $570 mln, Berlin, Germany – Banking – VC, seria D

8. Revolut – $500 mln, London, UK - Payment/transactions – Venture capital - seria D;

9. Robinhood – $430 mln, Menlo Park, USA - Wealth/Investment management – Venture capital, seria F;

10. Navi Technologies – $397,9 mln, Bengaluru, India - Payment/transactions - Angel (consortium of individual investors) - late stage.
